Their majesty the Dolomites

One of the world's most fascinating landscapes, the Dolomites, represent a complex environment that changes its look depending from the season and the altitude, assuming thousands of different facets, but always remaining the best scenery for unique and unforgettable experiences that help to reach a precious internal balance.

Dolomites UNESCO

In 2009 the Dolomites were included into the list of UNESCO Natural World Heritage Sites. A charming nature's work of art that captivates at first sight, astonishing with breath taking views, with dazzling colours and bizarre shapes, with crests and peaks towering as far as the eye can see, standing out against the deep blue of the sky. For a complete immersion into this fantastic world, sometimes surreal, but always impressive, it's worth coming to Alta Badia, in the true heart of the Dolomites, from where you can easily explore all the nearby valleys, such as Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Ampezzo Valley, Livinallongo/Fodom Valley and Val Pusteria.

Nature Parks

The nature parks of South Tyrol represent the most untouched and virgin areas, where you can tune perfectly into the Alpine nature. Alta Badia boasts a great location at the gates of two nature parks at once, Fanes-Sennes-Prags and Puez-Geisler, both of which are truly enchanting places with unique landscapes and numerous protected species. Here you can not only catch superb glimpses, but also meet marmots, roe deer, deer, chamois and other wild animals in their natural habitat.
